Whisky And Tonic Cocktail

An unusual twist to the classic gin and tonic, this whisky variation replaces the botanical spirit while bringing a smoky flavour profile to the favoured combination. Using single malt scotch whisky as the base spirit which has a mellow flavour profile means that a top-up of tonic water is all it needs to be sipped at leisure.

Tips & Suggestions
Avoid whisky that are heavily peated or smoky, as that may overpower the tonic water flavour, creating an imbalance between the whisky and tonic water. Fruity or floral whisky can work well in any whisky tonic cocktail.
To add some extra flavour to the cocktail, honey syrup for sweetness, ginger liqueur for spiciness, and bitters can be added.
