Best sipped over ice, the fizzy drink is an impressive yet understated way to celebrate the natural flavours of the alcohol without being overwhelming on the palate.

  • The Singleton Of Glendullan Single Malt Scotch Whisky (or any single malt scotch of choice)
    30ml
  • Cold brew coffee
    30ml
  • Cola
    30ml
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. Step 1

    Pour the ingredients into a mid-ball glass filled with ice.

  2. Step 2

    Using a bar spoon, stir gently to combine.

  3. Step 3

    Garnish with Maraschino cherries and serve.

Tips & Suggestions

  • Adding vanilla extract or coffee liqueur adds depth to the cocktail, while bitters provide complexity.

  • Though the ideal ratio of whisky, cold brew coffee and cola is 1:1:1, adding more coffee can provide deep flavour, whereas adding more cola increases fizz.
