Casamigos Tommy's Margarita
A fresh take on a classic, this iteration of a Margarita uses agave nectar instead of Triple Sec for a vibrant, sweet-but-sour cocktail that really lets the tequila shine through.
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- Casamigos Reposado Tequila or Casamigos Blanco Tequila50ml
- Agave nectar10ml
- Fresh lime juice25ml
- Lime wedge to garnish
Equipment
- Rocks glass
- Jigger
Method
Pour
Wet 1/2 rim of rocks glass with lime wheel or orange zest, then dip into salt mixture. Using a jigger, measure 50ml Casamigos Reposado Tequila or Casamigos Blanco Tequila into a cocktail mixer with the lime juice and agave nectar.
Mix
Shake the mixture vigorously in the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels chilled. Strain the drink with a cocktail strainer into the salt-rimmed small rocks glass.
Garnish
Add fresh ice to the glass and garnish.
Grab a bite
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
