J&B Classic Cocktail

Essentially the ‘whisky and cola’ cocktail, this variation of the Cuba Libre is an easy-to-make recipe that utilises minimal ingredients. Featuring a rare, blended scotch whisky, the concoction is ideal to experiment with when it comes to ratios, for amateur bartenders.
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- J&B Rare Blended Scotch Whisky or any whisky of choice45ml
- Cola150ml
- Orange wheel
- Ice cubes
Method
- Step 1
Add all ingredients to an Ice-filled highball glass.
- Step 2
Stir to combine.
- Step 3
Garnish with an orange wheel before serving.
Tips & Suggestions
A spritz of fresh lime juice adds tangy flavour to the cocktail and can also be used to rim the glass to enhance citrus aroma.
Whisky, cola and ice can be blended to make a slushy cocktail instead of the traditional liquid version.
