Black And Soda Cocktail

Whisky
Author: Ashifa Bano
A bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky stands between two tall glasses filled with ice, garnished with orange slices and mint, against an orange background.

Poured over ice this popular pick is an ideal cocktail to celebrate the rich, sweet vanilla notes of whisky against the snippy taste of soda. Ideal to serve on any occasion or gathering, this versatile drink can also utilise a variety of flavoured fizzy mixers for further flavour enhancement.

    for garnish
  • Ice cubes

In a tall glass filled with ice cubes, add in the whisky.

  2. Step 2

Top up with soda as per preference and garnish with a wedge of lime to serve chilled.

Tips & Suggestions

  • Pre-chill the serving glass to ensure that the drink remains at a consistent temperature and prevents diluting the ice rapidly.

  • For a less mineral taste, swap the soda water with seltzer, sparkling water or tonic.
