Perfect for the colder months, this classic cocktail combines whisky with tarte lemon and sweet honey.

2 units of alcohol per serve

  • 50mlWhisky

  • 75mlBoiling water

  • 25mlRunny honey

  • 15mlLemon juice

  • Lemon slice

  • Clove pieces

Equipment

  • 1 x Heatproof glass
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Spoon
  • 1 x Stirrer

Method

  • Step 1
    Measuring with the jigger, add the whisky, lemon juice, cloves and honey to the glass.
  • Step 2

    Top up with boiling water.

  • Step 3

    Stir gently.

  • Garnish

    Garnish with a lemon slice.

  • Grab a bite

    Get some grub in before or during drinking - it can help to slow alcohol absorption.
