Haig Hot Toddy

Ingredients

How many serves?

2 units of alcohol per serve

  • 25mlHaig Club Clubman

  • 125mlCloudy apple juice

  • Teaspoon of honey

  • Cinnamon stick

  • tsp grated ginger

  • slice of lemon and its peel

  • A sprinkle of ground nutmeg

Equipment

  • 1 x Pan
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Latte Mug
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Peeler
  • 1 x Wooden Spoon

Method

  • Step 1

     Add everything except the Haig Club to a pan and bring to a simmer

  • Step 2

    Reduce the temperature but continue warming for 10-15 minutes allowing the flavours to combine.

  • Step 3

    Add Haig Club, stir and then strain the mixture into a glass latte mug and garnish with the lemon peel
