Thyme-Plum Moscow Mule Cocktail

Vodka
Author: Ashifa Bano
Two glasses of a pale pink cocktail garnished with fig slices and thyme sprigs, surrounded by cut figs, a lemon half, and thyme on a light surface.

A luxurious and imaginative take on the classic vodka cocktail, this recipe is an ideal foundation for large-batch cocktail options. Using fresh ingredients such as thyme and plums, coupled with fizzy ginger beer enhances the taste of a neutral spirit like vodka.

    5

Method

  1. Step 1

Add the vodka, lime juice, sliced plums and thyme to a large pitcher and mix well.

  2. Step 2

  3. Step 3

Serve individual portions of the cocktail in glasses filled with ice and garnished with sprigs of thyme.

Tips & Suggestions

  • Avoid over-muddling the thyme as it creates a bitter taste that overpowers the flavour of the cocktail.

  • Apricots and peaches are among the alternatives that can be used instead of plums for the drink.
