First gaining popularity in the 1980s, this iconic drink combines vodka with Peach Schnapps, orange juice and cranberry for a balanced mix of sweet and citrus flavours. Its layered, sunset-like appearance makes it instantly recognisable, while its balanced flavours and easy-to-make recipe keep it a popular choice for lots of occasions.

  • Peach Schnapps
    15ml
  • Cassis
    15ml
  • Fresh orange juice
    40ml
  • Cranberry juice
    40ml
  • Orange wheel

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Cocktail strainer
  • Skewer

Method

Step 1

Add ice to a cocktail shaker

Colourful liquids are poured into a copper cocktail shaker

Step 2

Add the vodka, Peach Schnapps, cassis, orange juice and cranberry juice to the cocktail shaker

Shake well until the surface of the shaker feels well chilled

Strain the mixture into a highball glass over fresh ice
