Ingredients
- Black Dog Scotch Whisky (or any scotch whisky of choice)30ml
- Cinnamon syrup7ml
- White wine15ml
- Apple slices
- Cinnamon sticks
- Ice cubes
Method
- Step 1
Add the whisky, cinnamon syrup and white wine to an ice-filled shaker and shake vigorously to combine.
- Step 2
Strain and pour into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Step 3
Garnish with the apple slices and cinnamon sticks before serving.
Tips & Suggestions
Semi-sparkling or sparkling wine can be used in the cocktail because it pairs well with sweet cinnamon syrup.
If readymade cinnamon syrup is unavailable, homemade cinnamon syrup can be used. Simply boil water with white sugar or brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla, stirring until it reaches a thick consistency.
