A modern and seasonal twist on the classic whisky sour. Created for the World Class Cocktail Festival 2024, try this impressive cocktail at home.

  • The Singleton 12yo
    The Singleton of Dufftown Malt Master Selection Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl
    40ml
  • Giffard Rhubard Liqueur
    15ml
  • Lemon juice
    15ml
  • Monin Sugar Syrup
    15ml
  • 1/3 dropper Ms Better’s Miraculous Foamer
1.9 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • Coupette glass
  • Jigger
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Hawthone Strainer

Method

Pour

Using a jigger, measure all ingredients and pour into your cocktail shaker. Seal the shaker well, and dry shake ingredients without ice, to create foam and texture to the cocktail.

Shake

Open shaker, add lots of ice and shake well! Place your hawthorne strainer on top of the shaker, and fine strain the liquid into your coupette.

Garnish

Garnish with a cherry or raspberry.

Top tip

Keep your coupette in the freezer for a cold and delicious drink!

Grab a bite

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
