Method

Using tequila, orange juice and grenadine, this classic cocktail was a hit in the '70s and remains a crowd-pleaser to this day. 

What you’ll need

  • Blanco Tequila
    Don Julio Blanco Tequila, 70cl
    50ml
  • Orange Juice
    75ml
  • Grenadine
    10ml
  • Orange wedge
2 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • Highball glass
  • Jigger
  • Chopping board
  • Knife
  • Ice

Method

Step 1

Fill the highball glass with ice

Step 2

Using the jigger, add the tequila, orange juice and grenadine into a glass. 

Step 3

Using a knife, cut a wedge of orange and place on top of the drink to garnish.

Grab a bite

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
