Penny Black
This fine mixed drink takes the great mixing qualities of Scotch Whisky and adds sour, sweet and bitter in the form of grapefruit, honey and a dash of bitters for a burst of flavours.

25mlPink Grapefruit Juice
25mlHoney Syrup
10mlLemon Juice
2dash(es)Bitters

2 units of alcohol per serve
Equipment
1 x Short glass
1 x Chopping board
1 x Jigger
1 x Ice
1 x Cocktail shaker
1 x Strainer
1 x Knife
Method
Ice
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Pour
Using a jigger, pour 50ml Scotch Whisky, 25ml pink grapefruit juice, 25ml honey water and 10ml lemon juice into the shaker. Add 2 dashes of bitters.
Mix
Shake the mixture vigorously until the surface of the cocktail shaker feels chilled.
Using a cocktail strainer, strain into a short glass.
Garnish
Place one cherry on top of the drink to garnish.
