Gin and Tonic Cocktail Recipe

Gin and Tonic with a grapefruit garnish

The Gin and Tonic is one of the world's most famous mixes, but there's an art to getting it just right. We recommend choosing a gin full of juniper and botanical flavours, with a slightly bitter tonic. Experiment to see what works for you!

What you’ll need

Ingredients

Serves:

  • Gin
    50ml
  • Tonic water (we recommend Fever Tree)
    150ml
  • Grapefruit wedge
    1
  • Ice
2 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • Highball glass
  • Jigger
  • Stirrer

Method

Step 1

Fill the highball glass with ice

Step 2

Using a jigger, measure the gin and add it to your glass.

Step 3

Top up with tonic.

Garnish

Garnish with a wedge of grapefruit and enjoy!
