Watermelon Margarita Cocktail Recipe

If summer tasted like summer, it would taste like this watermelon margarita: fresh, juicy and natural. This vibrant take on the classic margarita combines tequila with sun-sweet watermelon and lime for a drink that tastes like sunshine in a glass, bringing out the fruity flavors without overshadowing tequila's natural character. Unlike the Tequila Mockingbird - which also uses watermelon, but often adds yellow jalapeño or other botanicals to give the mix a spicy flavor and playful complexity - the Watermelon Margarita keeps it fresh, sweet and simple, letting the watermelon be the star, along with tequila, lime and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for warm evenings, backyard barbecues or light summer drinks.
