Created by James Bond author Ian Fleming, this sophisticated cocktail combines gin and vodka.

  • Gin
    0.75oz
  • Vodka
    1oz
  • Dry white vermouth
    0.25oz
  • Lemon peel
    1
  • Ice
3 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • Martini or Coupe Glass
  • Jigger
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Chopping board
  • Knife

Method

Step 1

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.

Step 2

Measuring with the jigger, add the vodka, gin and dry vermouth into the shaker.

Step 3

Shake the mixture until the surface of the shaker feels chilled. Strain the mixture into a martini glass.

Step 4

Using the knife, cut a strip of lemon peel and twist onto the rim of the glass to garnish.
