Discover how to make the classic cocktail with vodka and dry vermouth - a modern twist on the classic gin martini. Dry, crystal-clear, and ice-cold: the martini is the quintessential classic cocktail enjoyed by everyone from Clark Gable to Audrey Hepburn.

2.1 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Martini glass
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Cocktail Shaker

Method

Ice

Fill your shaker 3/4 full with cubed ice.

Pour

Using a jigger, pour vodka and vermouth over the ice into the shaker.

Mix

Shake vigorously for 10 seconds until cold. Strain into the martini glass.

Garnish

To serve, add the lemon zest.
