Honey Bee Cocktail

The Honey Bee cocktail is a wonderful and lesser-known, yet equally appealing, member of the classic ‘sour’ cocktail family. It is constructed on a simple, beautiful foundation with three key elements. While not as well-known as its cousin - the bee’s knees cocktail (which utilises gin instead of rum), the honey bee is frequently referenced in cocktail literature as a rum version of the classic.

Tips & Suggestions
Never use raw honey straight; it will not mix evenly with other ingredients. Always make a 1:1 ratio honey syrup by dissolving honey in equal parts of lukewarm water and cooling thoroughly
Before blending the key ingredients, ensure that they are as cold as possible to enable minimal dilution throughout the shake, resulting in a more concentrated flavour.
