Gin Rickey Cocktail

The Gin Rickey cocktail is a beloved traditional drink known for its simplicity and crisp, unsweetened character. Named after Colonel Joe Rickey, an individual renowned for preferring bourbon and soda with a squeeze of lime and most importantly, no sugar - the original was a bourbon Rickey cocktail. However, the gin variation of the cocktail became more popular.

Tips & Suggestions
To obtain the most brilliant juice and essential oils, firmly roll your limes on the counter before cutting and squeezing, this breaks down the membranes inside, resulting in more juice and flavour.
For ultimate elegance and to emphasise its pristine nature, when serving, present the glass with a napkin or coaster, allowing the drinker to handle it without warming the glass while gripping.
