Sarah Mitchell's Mint Oreo Shake Cocktail Recipe

A creamy, chocolaty mix of classic Oreo cookies, perfectly blended with milk, vanilla ice cream, mint and vodka. This homage to the traditional milkshake was inspired by that old school American diner feel.

- Oreo Cookies4
- Milk100ml
- Vanilla Ice Cream2ml
- Mint Sprig1
1.9 units of alcohol per serving
Equipment
- 1 x Sundae glass
- 1 x Jigger
- 1 x Blender
Method
Mix
Using a jigger, measure 50ml vodka into a blender, along with 3 Oreo cookies, 2 scoops vanilla ice cream, and blend until well combined.
Pour
Pour the mixture into a sundae glass.
Garnish
Crush an Oreo cookie and scatter on top of the drink. Place a sprig of mint at angle against the rim of the glass to garnish.
Step 4
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
