Baileys Original Irish Cream Hot Chocolate
A delicious variation on the classic hot chocolate drink, this adds a fabulous rich, creamy dimension that's not hard to create but made to be savoured with a few friends.
Ingredients
How many serves?
0.8 units of alcohol per serve
1
100mlMilk
1 tsp hot chocolate powder
A dollop of cream
Crushed or shaved chocolate (we recommend Tony's Chocolonely)
Equipment
- 1 x Jigger
- 1 x Mug or heatproof glass
- 1 x Kettle
Method
Step 1
Use the chocolate powder and the milk to make a hot chocolate. Pour into your favourite mug.
Step 2
Using a jigger, measure 50ml of Baileys and add to your mug.
Step 3
Garnish according to your preferences. We recommend heaps of whipped (or fresh) cream, chocolate shavings and even some chocolate sauce if you fancy.
Grab a bite
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
