Rum Daiquiri Cocktail Recipe

A Cuban classic, the Daiquiri blends rum, fresh-squeezed lime juice and a touch of simple syrup for a serve that's perfectly sour (and just a little bit sweet).

- Captain Morgan White Rum60ml
- Lime juice25ml
- Simple syrup15ml
- Dash of salt
- Ice
2.4 units of alcohol per serving
Equipment
- Coupette glass
- Jigger
- Cocktail shaker
Method
Ice
Using a jigger, measure all liquid ingredients and add them to a cocktail shaker with a touch of salt.
Mix
Shake vigorously then fine strain into a chilled coupette glass.
Garnish
No garnish necessary! But feel free to add a lime twist for a little flair.
Grab a bite
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
