Find out the secret to making the best Irish coffee, an iconic blend of Irish whiskey, sweetened coffee and decadent whipped cream.

Equipment

  • 1 x Irish coffee glass
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Bar spoon
  • 1 x Grater
  • 1 x Means to whip cream

Method

  • Step 1

    Using a jigger, measure all ingredients (except the cream) and add to an Irish coffee glass.

  • Step 2

    Gently stir to dissolve sugar.

  • Step 3

    Top with whipped cream and grated nutmeg.

    Whip your cream with 5ml of maple syrup and a drop of vanilla essence.
