The perfect Espresso Martini
The espresso martini is a luxurious pick-me-up cocktail made with vodka, coffee liqueur, and freshly brewed espresso. Served in a chilled coupe glass, it's the perfect balance of smooth and strong, with a delightful frothy layer on top.
Ingredients
How many serves?
2 units of alcohol per serve

30mlKetel One Vodka
30mlFreshly brewed espresso or cold brew concentrate
5mlSugar syrup
Coffee beans to garnish
Equipment
- 1 x Martini glass
- 1 x Jigger
- 1 x Shaker
Method
Pour
Using a jigger, measure 30ml Mr Black, 30ml Ketel One Vodka, 5ml sugar syrup and combine with 30ml coffee in a cocktail shaker.
Mix
Shake the mixture vigorously in the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels ice cold.
Garnish
Strain into a martini glass creating a smooth pour. Garnish with three coffee beans.
Grab a bite
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
TOP TIP
Ideally, use fresh espresso. Alternatively, a strong brewed coffee or cold brew concentrate can work if you don't have an espresso machine.
