Tanqueray French 75 Cocktail Recipe

Citrusy and tinged with delicious botanicals, the Tanqueray French 75 is sparkling, sophisticated and just a little bit sweet.

What you’ll need

Ingredients

2 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Champagne flute
  • 1 x Cocktail shaker
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Strainer

Method

Step 1

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

Step 2

Using a jigger, add 30ml gin, 20ml lemon juice and 15ml sugar syrup. Add to an ice-filled shaker and shake.

Step 3

Shake the mixture vigorously until the surface of the cocktail shaker feels chilled. Use a cocktail strainer to strain into a champagne flute and top up with 60ml champagne.

Garnish

Garnish with a lemon peel.
