Gin Mojito Cocktail Recipe
A gin-based version of the classic Mojito, switching out rum for London Dry Gin and apple instead of mint for a subtle take on the great cocktail
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- London Dry Gin50ml
- Mint leaves7
- Lime wedges2
- Sugar Syrup25ml
- Apple juice50ml
- Mint Sprig1
Method
Muddle
Clap the mint in you palms to releases the aromas and place at the bottom of the tall glass. Chop your half lime into pieces and place on top of the mint. Add your sugar or sugar syrup on top of the mint and lime. Muddle gently to release the lime juices.
Ice
Fill your glass 3/4 full with crushed ice (important to use crushed ice to ensure maximum flavour).
Pour
Pour in London Dry Gin and apple juice.
Garnish
Stir everything together well and top with further crushed ice and garnish with a sprig of mint.
