Strawberry Mojito Cocktail Recipe
Cuba meets the English summertime in the Strawberry Mojito cocktail recipe; a drink where juicy fresh fruit squashed with zesty lime, white rum and a touch of fresh mint makes for a berry nice combination.
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- Captain Morgan® Rum50ml
- Soda Water dash1
- Caster Sugar tsp splash sprinkle sprig twist dash2
- Strawberries3
- Lime wedge2
- Mint sprig twist dash1
Method
Mix
Press down on 2 wedges of lime, 3 strawberries and 2 teaspoons of caster sugar in a tankard or jar using a large spoon or pestle to extract flavour and aroma. Pick 12 leaves from a sprig of mint and place in the glass. Press down gently on the mint, together with the sugar, strawberries and lime.
Ice
Add crushed ice so the tumbler or tankard is ¾ full.
Pour
Using a jigger, add Captain Morgan White Rum and a dash of soda water. Stir the mixture thoroughly using a bar spoon until well combined.
Garnish
Top up with more crushed ice and garnish with a sprig of mint.
