Tequila Sunrise

Clean, pure Blanco tequila with sweet grenadine and delicious, subtly sour orange juice makes one of the greatest of modern classic cocktails.

What you’ll need

Ingredients

Serves:

1.8 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Highball glass  
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Ice

Method

Mix

Using a jigger, measure the tequila and orange juice and add them to a highball glass over ice. Stir gently to combine.

Pour

Slowly pour grenadine syrup over the top to create a 'sunrise effect'.

Garnish

Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
