Cantarito cocktail

Enjoy a Cantarito cocktail, where tequila meets a medley of citrus. For a fully authentic experience, serve it in a Cantarino cup - but if you don't have one at hand, a collins glass will do.

What you’ll need

Ingredients

  • Don Julio Reposado Tequila
    60ml
  • Grapefruit juice
    22.5ml
  • Fresh orange juice
    22.5ml
  • Lime juice
    15ml
  • Grapefruit soda
    90ml
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of fresh cracked black pepper
  • Ice
2.4 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • Cantarito cup or collins glass
  • Jigger
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Spoon

Method

Mix

Using a jigger, measure all ingredients and add everything but the grapefruit soda into an ice filled cocktail shaker. Shake until chilled. Using a jigger, measure all ingredients and add everything but the grapefruit soda into an ice filled cocktail shaker.  Shake until chilled.

Pour

Drain into a Canarito cup of collins glass filled with ice. Top with grapefruit soda. Drain into a Canarito cup of collins glass filled with ice. Top with grapefruit soda. 

Garnish
