A classic cocktail that's perfect to serve after dinner

What you’ll need

Ingredients

Serves:

  • 50ml
  • Espresso coffee
    45ml
  • Sugar syrup
    15ml
  • Coffee liqueur
    5ml
  • Coffee beans
    3
1.5 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Coupe glass
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Mixing glass
  • 1 x Ice

Method

Mix

Mix all ingredients in a mixing glass. Shake well with ice and fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.  

Garnish

Garnish with three coffee beans on top.  

Step 3

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
