The epitome of Southern elegance, the Mint Julep is a zesty blend of smooth bourbon and vibrant mint.

  • Bulleit Bourbon
    Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey, 70 Cl
    50ml
  • Demara syrup
    15ml
  • Mint leaves
    10
2 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • Rocks Glass
  • Jigger
  • Spoon
  • Crushed ice

Method

Step 1

Muddle mint leaves and a splash of water in a rocks glass or julep cup.

Step 2

Add all ingredients and fill glass with crushed ice and stir.

Step 3

Garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Step 4

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
