Rusty Nail Cocktail Recipe

Combining Scotch whisky and Drambuie, the Rusty Nail is high up on the list of cocktails made with Scotch, and makes for a wonderfully indulgent blend of heather flavours, spices and sweet caramel.

What you’ll need

2.7 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Short glass
  • 1 x Chopping board
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Ice
  • 1 x Stirrer
  • 1 x Knife

Method

Ice

Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes.  

Pour

Using a jigger, measure 50ml Blended Scotch Whisky and 25ml Drambuie into the glass.

Mix

With a bar spoon stir the mixture. With a strainer, strain into a short glass.

Garnish

With a chopping board and sharp knife, slice a piece of lemon peel and place in glass to garnish.
