J&B Rare Blended Scotch Whisky, to give it it’s full name, was originally created in the 1930s to appeal to the American market. After Prohibition ended, London wine and spirits merchants Justerini & Brooks saw a gap in the market and created a smoother, more refined whisky tailored to American tastes. By blending 42 single malt and grain whiskies, they created J&B Rare, a versatile Scotch with a fruity, spiced flavour. Whether in classic cocktails or on its own, it’s clear why this drink has stolen hearts worldwide.
