Mirchi Magnet With Smirnoff Mirchi Mango

When it comes to Indian cuisine, spicy is the most common description, and it’s not without cause. And if you turn the lens on fruits, sweet and pulpy mango is undoubtedly a favourite. What happens when you bring the two together? You get a “swicy” spirit, like the Smirnoff Mango Mirchi, where the sharpness of chillies cuts through the sweetness of mangoes. When used in cocktails, it replicates the tropical, spicy notes of Indian food and drinks. Take, for example, the Mirchi Magnet cocktail.
Mirchi Magnet is a vibrant, spicy cocktail balancing the sweet heat of mango mirchi with the tang of passion fruit and lime. The chilli salt rim adds an extra layer of heat and flavour; spice lovers seeking a fresh, tropical taste may find this one worth exploring.

Step 2
Muddle the chilli: In a shaker, place 1/2 green chilli. Muddle gently to release the heat and flavour, taking care not to over-muddle to avoid bitterness.
Step 3
Add Remaining Ingredients: Pour in 60ml Smirnoff Mango Mirchi, 10ml Passion Fruit Syrup, and 15ml Lime Juice. Fill the shaker with ice.
Step 4
Shake: Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled and combined.
Step 5
Strain: Double strain into the prepared coupe glass, ensuring no chilli bits or pulp pass through.
Garnish the cocktail with a dehydrated lime slice, placed on the rim or floating on top for visual appeal and added aroma.
