The Munich mule cocktail is a unique drink that serves as a gin-based variation on the classic Moscow mule cocktail. This combination produces a simple, effervescent beverage with a nuanced interplay of herbaceous, citrus and spicy flavours. Typically served in a copper mug or tall glass filled with ice, it is suitable to serve during summer events.

    Pieces
  • Ice cubes, for serving

    Slices
  • Lemon wheel, for garnish

Method

  1. Step 1

Chill a copper mug or highball glass completely and fill it with ice cubes.

Tips & Suggestions

  • Instead of relying solely on ginger beer for spice, micrograte a pinch of fresh ginger right onto the final drink to produce a prominent and immediate spiced aromatic touch.

  • Instead of simply chopping, use a vegetable peeler to make long, thin cucumber ribbons. Twist it to release its oils into the drink before using it as an attractive, scented garnish.
