Don Paloma Cocktail

Cóctel Don Paloma junto a una botella de Don Julio Blanco, una toronja y media cortada y un batidor.

Tequila’s smooth, citrus-kissed genius is used to create this version of the paloma cocktail as a fresh take on Mexico’s popular drink. This beverage combines the distinct richness of Don Julio Reposado tequila with zesty lime, fresh grapefruit juice and soda to create an interplay between sweet and tart flavours. With each sip, a salty rim teases the palate with an ideal contrast.

Tips & Suggestions

  • Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice is always preferable to bottled because of its inherent brightness and acidity, which elevates the drink’s flavour and complements the tequila without adding artificial sweetness.

  • To ensure that drinkers don’t miss any of the layered profile, place a broad straw or reusable metal straw so that one can taste the flavours settled towards the bottom.
