Savoury Eggnog

Have you heard about the Eggnog with a cheeky savoury twist? Well, if you like a Bloody Mary, you’ll love this creation.

Combining Johnnie Walker Black with Egg and cream plus Worcestershire Sauce and celery salt make the Savoury Eggnog as warm and filling as it is delicious.

What you’ll need

  • Johnnie Walker® Black Label® Blended Scotch Whisky
    35ml
  • Worcestershire Sauce
    10ml
  • Fernet Branca
    5ml
  • Egg Yolk
    1
  • Sugar Syrup
    35ml
  • Double Cream
    15ml
  • Angostura Bitters
    2.5ml
  • Salt and Black Pepper pinch bottle
    1
  • Lemon Juice tsp splash sprinkle sprig twist dash
    0.5
  • Celery Salt tsp splash sprinkle sprig twist dash
    0.5
1.5 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Cocktail shaker
  • 1 x Ice
  • 1 x Strainer

Method

Mix

Wipe the rim of a tumbler glass with lemon and celery salt, Place all ingredients in a shaker, shake, add ice, shake and shake again, add ice to glass and pour. Fill the glass ½ of the way with ice cubes. Strain into a glass.

Step 2

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
