Long Island Iced Tea Cocktail Recipe

This iconic drink may be the ultimate highball - featuring a mix of spirits and topped off with everyone's favourite fizz. Home mixologists, get your jigger ready, it's time to get measuring! This version of the Long Island Iced Tea is herbaceous, sweet and citrussy.

  • Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold
    Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, 1 L
    10ml
  • Smirnoff No.21 Vodka
    Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka, 1L
    10ml
  • Gordon's London Dry Gin
    Gordon's London Dry Gin, 1L
    10ml
  • Don Julio Blanco Tequila
    Don Julio Blanco Tequila, 70 Cl
    10ml
  • Triple Sec
    10ml
  • Sugar Syrup
    15ml
  • Lemon Juice
    17.5ml
  • Splash of Cola
    1
  • Lemon Juice
    20ml
  • Wedge of Lemon
    1
2 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Highball Glass
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Jigger

Method

Pour

Using a jigger, carefully measure all ingredients except the Cola. Add them to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. 

Pour

Strain into an ice-filled highball glass. 

Top

Top with a splash of Cola. 

Garnish

Garnish with a lemon wedge.
