Long Island Iced Tea

An unusual blend of vodka, gin, tequila, rum and orange liqueur with cola, the Long Island Iced Tea flavours of vanilla and lightly tannic wood make it taste a little like tea, but in fact they come from a mix of quality aged spirits.

Long Island Iced Tea

Ingredients

Serves:

2 units of alcohol per serve

Equipment

  • 1 x Highball Glass

  • 1 x Strainer

  • 1 x Jigger

Method

  • Ice

    Using a jigger, carefully measure all ingredients except the Cola, Add them to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. 

  • Pour

    Strain into an ice-filled highball glass. 

  • Top

    Top with a splash of Cola. 

  • Garnish

    Garnish with a lemon wedge.

  • Grab a bite

    Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
