A bit of history

Don Julio González started his tequila journey in 1942. He started with nothing in his pockets but his own passion. He decided to establish his roots in Atotonilco by building La Primavera distillery, where he pioneered the world’s first ultra-premium tequila from 100% agave. He used only the highest quality blue agave, a spiky desert plant grown in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Interesting facts

In Mexico tequila is often enjoyed as an accompaniment to food. It’s great served with ceviche, chicken tacos or even vanilla ice cream."
