Between the Sheets
A fine little number from the days of Prohibition, Between the Sheets is a spirituous, citrussy martini packed with Morgan's and Orange Liqueur spice. Enjoy a taste of the 20s!
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold25ml
- Orange Liqueur25ml
- Brandy25ml
- Lemon Juice25ml
- Lemon Zest strip piece tbsp1
Equipment
- 1 x Strainer
- 1 x Knife
- 1 x Jigger
- 1 x Chopping Board
- 1 x Shaker
Method
Ice
Fill a cocktail shaker with cubes of ice.
Pour
Using a jigger, measure 25ml Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold, 25ml Orange Liqueur, 25ml brandy and 25ml fresh lemon juice into the shaker.
Mix
Shake the mixture vigorously in the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass using a cocktail strainer.
Garnish
Using a sharp knife, pare a thin strip of lemon peel zest. Snap to release the flavouring oils, and then drop into the drink.
Step 5
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
