Slojito cocktail

A version of the modern classic Mojito cocktail, the Slojito swaps rum for Sloe gin for a minty, citrussy cocktail that's great for casual gatherings, Christmas drinks and garden parties alike.

What you’ll need

  • Brown Sugar tsp splash sprinkle sprig twist dash

  • Basil Leaves

  • Soda Water splash sprinkle sprig twist dash

1.9 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Tall glass
  • 1 x Ice
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Muddler
  • 1 x Stirrer
  • 1 x Chopping board
  • 1 x Knife

Method

Step 1

In a cocktail shaker, add and press down on 10 basil leaves and a teaspoon of brown sugar with a muddler to extract the juices and flavour.

Step 2

Use a jigger to measure 50ml Sloe Gin and add ice cubes to the shaker.

Step 3

Shake the mixture vigorously until the surface of the cocktail shaker feels chilled, then pour the mixture into a tall glass. Top up the drink with a splash of soda water.
