Passion Fruit Caipiroska Cocktail Recipe

Passion Fruit Caipiroska

Fruity, lively and deliciously balanced, with great-tasting vodka as its base, the Passion Fruit Caipiroska is a twist on classic Brazilian cocktail the Caipirinha that’s perfect for a summer of great sport.  

What you’ll need

Ingredients

Serves:

1.5 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Spoon
  • 1 x Knife
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Crushed ice
  • 1 x Chopping Board

Method

Cut

Using a sharp knife and a chopping board, cut a lime into quarters. Cut a passion fruit in half and dig a spoon into the passion fruit to remove the flesh inside.

Mix

Place 4 lime wedges, ½ passion fruit and a tablespoon of brown sugar in a tumbler. Using a jigger, measure 12.5ml sugar syrup into the tumbler.

Muddle

Press down on the contents of the glass using a muddler to extract juices and flavour.

Pour

Top with crushed ice and, using a jigger, measure 40ml vodka into the glass.

Stir

Using a barspoon, stir the mixture until the ingredients are well combined. Top with more crushed ice.
