Hotel Nacional Cocktail Recipe

Named after the famous Hotel Nacional in Havana, Cuba, this signature cocktail adapts the classic Daiquiri. Lauren Mote has mixed pineapple, lime juice and apricot (or peach liqueur) for a cocktail that’s smooth in taste and big on tropical flavour.  

What you’ll need

1.8 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Cocktail glass
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Cocktail shaker
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Ice

Method

1. Ice

In a cocktail shaker with ice, add all ingredients.

2. Mix

Shake for 5-7 seconds and fine strain (using a tea strainer to catch the ice bits) into a chilled cocktail glass.

3. Garnish

Garnish with a lime wheel.
