01. For the dark rum lovers
Treat them to a bottle of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and a handwritten recipe card to make a twist on a classic cocktail - the Rum Manhattan.
You'll need:
25ml Spiced rum
25ml Aged or dark rum
25ml Red vermouth
2 dashes aromatic bitters
To make:
Stir all ingredients with ice in a mixing glass, and strain neat into a chilled cocktail glass
Garnish with lemon or orange peel and a brandied cherry on a pick.

02. For the aged rum drinkers
Gift them with a bottle of Ron Zacapa 23. They'll like the premium look and feel of the bottle, but they'll love the rich, evocative liquid inside. With a bottle of Zacapa on hand, they can easily mix up a Rum Old Fashioned.
You'll need:
50ml Ron Zacapa 23 Rum
2 Dashes of chocolate bitters
15ml Dark sugar syrup*
*1 part brown sugar to 1 part water. Stir the sugar into warmed water until sugar is dissolved. Store in the fridge until ready to use. Stir all with ice and pour over fresh cubes in an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit.

03. For the spiced rum sippers
If they love a little heat and a little aroma in their rum, an excellent gift is a bottle of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold Rum - perfect for shaking up a Rum Sour.
You'll need:
45ml Spiced rum
20ml Lemon juice
15ml-20ml Simple syrup*
2 dashes aromatic bitters
1 egg white (optional)
*1 part white sugar to 1 part water. Stir the sugar into warmed water until sugar is dissolved. Store in the fridge until ready to use
To make:
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake hard for 7-10 seconds
Double strain using a mesh tea sieve into a chilled cocktail glass
