Like so many classic cocktails, the Martini has a long history riddled with more fiction than fact, but the Dirty Martini draws no arguments as to its method.

Olive Brine
0.25oz
White Dry Vermouth
0.25oz
Olive piece tbsp

2.4 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

1x Martini or Coupe glass
1 x Mixing Glass
1 x Jigger
1 x Knife
1 x Chopping Board
Ice

Method

Ice

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

Pour

Using a jigger, carefully measure all ingredients, and add them to an ice-filled mixing glass.

Mix

Using a bar spoon, stir until well combined. With a cocktail strainer, strain into a martini or coupe glass.

Garnish

Place a green olive in the drink to garnish.
