SIA

Breaking stereotypes and blending cultures: SIA whisky was created by a Cuban American woman with a passion for Scotch whisky.

SIA is the Gaelic word for six and refers to the blend of six malt and grain whiskies in every bottle.

SIA Scotch Whisky is a modern blend with an intriguing backstory. It was created in 2012 by Carin Luna-Ostaseski, a first-generation Cuban American, born and raised in the U.S. Her passion for Scotch whisky inspired her to create a blend that would welcome new drinkers and break old stereotypes. After raising funds on Kickstarter, Carin traveled to Scotland, where she worked closely with master blenders to craft SIA. They blended six malt and grain whiskies, hence the name SIA, which comes from the Gaelic word for ‘six’. The result is a whisky made entirely in Scotland, with notes of vanilla, caramel, citrus and honey. Loved by both newcomers and aficionados, and versatile enough to be drunk neat, on the rocks or in cocktails, its approachable character proves that Scotch can be stylish, welcoming and unforgettable.
