George Dickel must have had a fighting spirit in him, because he set out to create a whiskey to rival the finest Scotch.

George Dickel was born 40 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. He must have had the fighting spirit in him, because at the age of 54, this established Nashville merchant decided he wanted to create a whiskey that rivalled the finest Scotch. Distilled for generations in Cascade Hollow, where the climate and pure spring water are ideal, the thing that sets Dickel’s whiskies apart is the signature charcoal mellowing process. Whether crafted from rye, corn or barley, every sip delivers bold spice, caramel and oak. This is one heck of a distinctive Tennessee whiskey and no mistake.
