- Don Julio tequila (or any other tequila of choice)30ml
- Fresh grapefruit juice45ml
- Fresh pineapple juice45ml
- Fresh lime juice15ml
- Chilli-lime seasoning or fine black pepperFor rimming

Method
- Step 1
To prepare the serving glass, moisten the rim with a lime wedge and lightly roll it in the chilli-lime seasoning or finely ground black pepper.

Fill a serving glass with fresh ice and set aside.
- Step 3
In a separate mixing glass, combine the tequila, grapefruit and pineapple juice with lime juice.

Add ice cubes and stir the mixture vigorously with a bar spoon for about 20-30 seconds or until completely cooled and incorporated.

Strain the chilled mixture into an ice-filled serving glass and garnish with a fresh lime wedge; serve immediately.

Freeze fresh pineapple juice in an ice tray. Add one of these cubes to the mixing glass instead of conventional ice; when it melts, it imparts pure, undiluted pineapple flavour.
