A bit of history
Don Julio González founded the La Primavera distillery in 1942, where he pioneered the world’s first ultra-premium tequila from 100% agave. He used only the highest quality blue agave, a spiky desert plant grown in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.
Interesting facts
Don Julio Blanco is distilled in copper-lined pot stills, resulting in a distinctive fresh, citrus-sweet flavour. In Mexico, tequila is often enjoyed as an accompaniment to food. It’s great served with ceviche, chicken tacos or even vanilla ice cream.
