Grapefruit Smash Cocktail Recipe
A delicious bittersweet marmalade with pure, clear vodka and a lively dash of citrus makes a perfect fruit smash – and you can use the marmalade jar to serve it in.
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- 50ml
- Marmalade tsp splash sprinkle sprig twist dash2
- Lemon Juice50ml
- Grapefruit Juice25ml
- Cloudy Lemonade100ml
- Mint1ml
- Lemon slice1
Equipment
- 1 x Highball glass
- 1 x Knife
- 1 x Juicer
- 1 x Jar
- 1 x Bar spoon
- 1 x Jigger
- 1 x Crushed ice
- 1 x Chopping Board
Method
1. Pour
Using a jigger, measure 50ml vodka, 50ml Lemon Juice, and marmalade into the glass or jar.
2. Ice
Fill a highball glass or jam jar with crushed ice.
3. Mix
Stir with a bar spoon until the mixture is well combined. With a jigger, measure 25ml grapefruit juice into the glass. Top up with 100ml cloudy lemonade.
4. Garnish
With a sharp knife cut a slice of lemon on a chopping board, and place in the drink. Add 1 mint leaf to finish the garnish.
Step 5
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
